MPL PH MLBB BRUNO GUIDE – THE PROTECTOR

BALL AWAY!

Bruno, known as “The Protector,” is a skilled marksman hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang who is famous for his impressive burst damage.

Passive – Mecha Legs

Which allows Bruno to increase his critical chance every time he deals damage with his skills.
This skill can be stacked up to a certain number of times. While Bruno excels in physical attack, he is not as effective at gaining extra attack speed from various sources.

The stacks of Mecha Legs last for a certain duration, but they are reset whenever Bruno attacks a unit.

To maintain the stacks of Mecha Legs, even when there are no enemy heroes or minions around, players can hit a nearby jungle creep.
This ensures that Bruno’s passive skill remains active and ready to provide his critical chance bonus.

First Skill – Volley Shot

Bruno possesses a unique ability called Volley Shot. With this skill, Bruno can kick a Powerball with his basic attack, causing physical damage to the target.
Additionally, it slows down the target and momentarily boosts Bruno’s speed.

The Powerball then returns to Bruno and lands on the ground.
Bruno or his allied heroes have the option to retrieve the Powerball, which grants them an additional attack and reduces the cooldown of his ability Flying Tackle.

To start the game, it is advisable to acquire Volley Shot and use it to apply pressure on your opponent during the early stages of the game. It is crucial to prioritize leveling up this skill, as it serves as Bruno’s main source of damage.

However, please note that the Powerball can only be retrieved from the ground within a limited timeframe.
If not retrieved in time, it will disappear. Therefore, while farming in the lane, it is essential to retrieve the Powerball to conserve your mana.

It is worth mentioning that Bruno can possess two Powerballs simultaneously.
To achieve this, wait for Volley Shot to become available again, and then cast it while the initial Powerball is in the air.
This strategy can be utilized to quickly demolish turrets and other significant objectives like the Lord and Turtle.

Second Skill – Flying Tackle

Bruno performs a sliding tackle in the indicated direction, inflicting physical damage on enemies in his path and briefly stunning them.
If the Powerball is returning, Bruno can also pull it towards himself.

Flying Tackle serves as Bruno’s mobility skill. It can be used to pursue opponents, reposition during team fights, or escape from hazardous situations.
Keep in mind that you can pass through walls when using this ability.

Additionally, you can utilize it to launch an unexpected assault by quickly stunning your target.

Ultimate – Worldie

Bruno launches an Energy Ball towards the enemy hero, causing physical damage and pushing them backwards.
The Energy Ball then rebounds between nearby enemies, inflicting physical damage with each bounce.

Additionally, each hit reduces the enemy’s physical defense by a certain percentage for a few seconds, accumulating up to a maximum number of times.

Initiate battles by activating Worldie to decrease the enemy’s physical defense, giving your team a significant advantage.
Use this skill to repel an approaching opponent, allowing you to counterattack or make a successful escape.

It is also an effective way to clear minion waves. Select an enemy hero near the wave, and watch the Energy Ball bounce back and forth between them.

As Bruno, it is recommended to choose Flicker as your battle spell.
This spell gives you extra mobility, allowing you to retreat to safety, reposition during fights, or chase down enemies.

However, if you are up against opponents with multiple crowd control abilities, it is better to select Purify.
This spell instantly removes debuffs, giving you a chance to escape or continue your attack.

For your emblem, the Marksman emblem is the best choice. It provides substantial attack speed, adaptive attack, and lifesteal.
This will greatly enhance your damage output and sustain in battles.

On the other hand, if you prefer a significant boost in adaptive penetration, along with adaptive attack and movement speed, the Assassin emblem is a good alternative.

When it comes to your normal talents, Fatal is a great choice to increase your critical chance and critical damage.
This will make your basic attacks more impactful.

Another good option is the Weapon Master talent, which gives you additional physical attack from your equipment, emblem, talents, and skills.
This will further amplify your overall damage.

As for your core talent, Quantum Charge is an excellent choice. It grants you periodic movement speed boost and restores your HP upon dealing damage with basic attacks. This will provide you with extra mobility and sustainability in fights.

As a damage dealer on your team, it is crucial to focus on improving your physical attack and critical damage.

After getting your standard Boots, prioritize purchasing Haas’ Claws to greatly increase your lifesteal and critical chance.

Upgrade to Tough Boots and then obtain Berserker’s Fury to enhance your physical attack and critical damage even further.
To maximize your damage output, buy Malefic Roar or Blade of Despair.
Additionally, invest in Windtalker to improve your attack speed, movement speed, and critical chance.

Make sure to include Wind of Nature in your build, as it grants temporary immunity to physical damage when activated.
If you prioritize magic defense, you can replace Malefic Roar with Athena’s Shield or Rose Gold Meteor.

The recommended build for Bruno in Mobile Legends is as follows:

1. Tough Boots
2. Haas’ Claws
3. Berserker’s Fury
4. Malefic Roar
5. Windtalker
6. Wind of Nature

During the laning phase, you can poke your opponent by using Flying Tackle to close the gap between you and them.
Follow this up with Volley Shot-enhanced basic attacks to deal damage.

If you need to play safely, use Volley Shot to secure last hits on minions and use Flying Tackle as a way to escape from danger.

Once you reach level four, initiate your attack with Worldie.
This ability will deal substantial damage to your target and weaken their physical defense.
After using Worldie, continue to attack your opponent with Volley Shot and strategically use Flying Tackle to either chase them down or evade their attacks.

In team fights, position yourself in the backline to deal damage safely.
Additionally, use Flying Tackle to reposition yourself or dodge enemy spells.
