MPL PH MLBB SABER – THE WANDERING SWORD

KILL ALL AT ONCE!!

Saber, the Wandering Sword, is an assassin hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang with one of the most deadly combos in the game.

His high burst damage allows him to quickly eliminate squishy heroes.
Although he is relatively easy to learn, mastering him requires practice and strategy.

Saber’s skills in Mobile Legends:

Passive – Enemy’s Bane: When Saber attacks, he reduces the enemy’s physical defense for a few seconds.

The physical defense reduction stacks with each hit, up to a maximum of five stacks.
This effect does not work on minions, but it does apply to creeps.

Using skills can also trigger the passive ability.
To quickly reach the maximum number of stacks, it is recommended to use Saber’s first skill, Orbiting Swords, repeatedly.

First Skill – Orbiting Swords:

Saber releases five swords that rotate around him, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies upon contact.
After a certain period of time, the swords will return to him.

While the swords are active, Saber sends a sword towards his target with each attack,
dealing additional physical damage to the target and half of that damage to other enemies it passes through (damage to minions is reduced).

Each attack also reduces the cooldown of the second skill, Charge, by one second.

Using Orbiting Swords in conjunction with basic attacks will result in increased damage.

Since this skill is Saber’s main source of damage and farming, it is recommended to prioritize maxing out this skill first.

You can activate Orbiting Swords while dashing or moving by using the joystick.

This skill can damage invisible enemies, but it does not reveal them.

When playing as a jungler and taking the orange buff, use this skill to poke the nearby creeps to farm more efficiently.

While attacking a turret, Saber will still fire a sword towards it and reduce the cooldown of Charge, but there will be no extra damage dealt.

Even after Saber is killed, the swords will continue to orbit and return to him.

Second Skill – Charge:

Saber swiftly dashes in the specified direction, inflicting physical damage on enemies in his path and granting his next basic attack a boost.
The enhanced basic attack not only deals physical damage, but also reduces the target’s movement speed for a brief period.

Charge is Saber’s mobility spell, presenting several possible uses. It can be employed to initiate your combo, ambushing enemies, or to evade dangerous encounters.
The spell allows you to dash through walls, enabling a quick escape or surprise attack.

If you happen to be a jungler, it is highly recommended to utilize Charge in order to strengthen your basic attacks when clearing jungle creeps.
This will significantly enhance your farming efficiency.

Ultimate – Triple Sweep:

Triple Sweep is Saber’s ultimate skill, which allows him to charge at the target enemy hero, knocking them airborne and striking them three times.

During the duration of Triple Sweep,
The first two strikes deal the same amount of physical damage, while the third strike deals bigger damage.
This skill is effective in closing the gap between Saber and the target enemy hero,
although the dash distance is shorter than Saber’s Charge skill.

To maximize the damage output of Triple Sweep
It is important to cast the Orbiting Swords skill first, as each strike of Triple Sweep consumes the Orbiting Swords and deals massive damage.
To ensure that you hit your intended target, it is recommended to turn on Hero Lock Mode.

Even if the airborne effect of Triple Sweep is removed by abilities such as Purify or hero skills with the same effect like Miya’s Hidden Moonlight or Wanwan’s Needles in Flowers, Triple Sweep will still deal damage.

Here is a suggested build for Saber in Mobile Legends:

1. Warrior Boots (Ice Retribution if you’re a jungler) (Dire Hit Blessing if you’re a roamer)
2. Hunter Strike
3. Blade of the Heptaseas
4. Malefic Roar
5. Blade of Despair
6. Endless Battle

When it comes to skill combos, here are some easy ones to learn:

Early Game:
If you’re playing as a jungler or laner, use Orbiting Swords followed by Charge to enhance your basic attacks.
Deadly Combo (Level 4 and beyond):
1. Cast Orbiting Swords.
2. Close in on your target using Charge.
3. Unleash Triple Sweep to eliminate the enemy.

If you have Execute as your battle spell, you can use it to secure the kill if your opponent survives the combo.

Remember to use the Hero Lock Mode or Closest Target option in the Targeting Priority settings to ensure you hit the skills on your intended target.
