When you first start playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, one of the major decisions you’ll have to make is choosing your in-game name.
For seasoned gamers who already have established gamertags, this decision may not be a difficult one.
However, for others, it can be a different story.

If you have a new MLBB account and haven’t changed your name yet, you can change it for free for the first time.

In the future, if you want to change your name, you will need a Rename Card.
You can change your name as many times as you want as long as you have a card in your inventory.

Here’s how to change your name using a Rename Card:

1. Open the profile menu in the game.

2. Tap on your in-game name, and a prompt to change your name will appear.

3. Type in your new name and click “Okay”.

There are three ways to obtain a Rename Card to change your name in MLBB:

1. Buy it from the Shop: Go to the Shop menu and navigate to the Preparation tab.
Under the Special tab, you can purchase a Rename Card for 239 diamonds.
Sometimes, there may be events that allow players to acquire a Rename Card for free by completing certain tasks.

2. Participate in events: Occasionally, there may be events that offer free Rename Cards as rewards.
Unfortunately, there are no active events at the moment that provide free Rename Cards.

To access the Recharge menu in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, simply tap on the diamond icon located in the top part of your main window.
Once the menu is open, navigate to the Season First Recharge tab.

There, you will find a list of quests, and the last one on the list offers the opportunity to purchase a Rename Card for just 50 diamonds.
However, in order to unlock this option, you need to top up your account at least three times, regardless of the amount.

It is important to note that these top-ups must be made on three different days before you can proceed with purchasing the Rename Card.
