Lancelot guide: Best build, skills, emblem, combos
Lancelot, known as the Blade of Roses, is a skilled assassin hero in the popular mobile game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. He is adept at using his sharp sword to defeat his enemies.
Known for his remarkable agility, Lancelot has a unique set of skills that allow him to perform quick dashes.
Additionally, he can deal significant burst damage to take down fragile targets swiftly and then escape without taking any damage, making him a popular choice among players who prefer assassins.
Passive – Soul Cutter
Each time Lancelot charges, his damage is increased by a percentage for a few seconds, stacking up to four times the percentage. The duration of the damage increase resets when using a blink or charging ability.
The additional damage received includes all types of damage from any sources. Apart from his own abilities, Lancelot gains a Soul Cutter stack when blinking or dashing using Cyclone Eye, Flicker, and Mathilda’s Guiding Wind.
First Skill – Puncture
Lancelot charges in a specific direction, dealing physical damage to enemies in his path and applying a Sword Mark to the first unmarked enemy hit. The Sword Mark lasts for a few seconds.
Successfully applying a Sword Mark resets the cooldown of this skill. Puncture is Lancelot’s main mobility tool, used to approach targets or escape dangerous situations. It can also be used to evade ground-targeted abilities.
However, caution is advised when engaging enemy heroes with targeted crowd control, as Lancelot is not immune during the dash animation.
Second Skill – Thorned Rose
Thorned Rose is a key skill for Lancelot, where he strikes in the target direction three times, dealing physical damage to enemies hit. However, the damage is reduced when multiple enemies are hit. During this process, Lancelot becomes untargetable and invincible.
Enemies located at the center of the area will sustain all three hits and be slowed momentarily. The slowing effect has the ability to stack. This skill is not as effective with Lancelot’s spell vamp.
To maximize damage output, prioritize leveling up Thorned Rose first. Aim to strike your target at the center of the skill’s area to inflict more damage and apply a slowing effect. An indicator displays the center area, enabling you to enhance accuracy.
Maintain a distance from your target to ensure hitting them at the center. As Lancelot is immune during the skill animation, use this advantage to evade basic attacks, spells, and turret strikes. Mastering the precise timing for this maneuver requires practice and skill.
During encounters with Turtle or Lord, employing the Thorned Rose-Retribution combo significantly enhances your chances of securing the objective.
Ultimate – Phantom Execution
Following a brief pause, Lancelot executes a powerful strike in the designated direction, inflicting significant physical damage. He remains impervious while carrying out the move.
Typically employed to eliminate adversaries, Phantom Execution can also serve as an opening attack to deal substantial damage at the onset of a skirmish. As with Thorned Rose, Lancelot remains impervious during the execution, allowing him to evade both regular attacks and special abilities.
Yet, it is important to note that this move entails a casting delay. Mastery and practice are essential to effectively evading enemy spells using this ultimate skill.
Recommended battle spell:
When playing Lancelot in the jungle role, it is recommended to use Retribution as your battle spell. This choice aids in efficiently clearing jungle monsters, allowing for faster farming and item progression.
Additionally, Retribution is crucial for securing important objectives like the Lord and Turtle. Conversely, if you find yourself in a side lane position, Execute becomes a suitable alternative. This spell can be utilized to eliminate your target if they survive your initial attack.
Recommended emblem:
The Assassin emblem is the top choice for enhancing Lancelot’s performance, offering substantial adaptive penetration, adaptive attack, and movement speed bonuses.
For jungle play, prioritize the Swift and Seasoned Hunter talents. Swift provides extra attack speed in the first tier, while Seasoned Hunter boosts damage against key objectives like the Lord, Turtle, and creeps in the second tier.
To focus on dealing high damage to enemy heroes, consider selecting Rupture for increased adaptive penetration and Weapons Master for additional physical attack bonuses from gear, emblems, talents, and skills.
The core talent, Killing Spree, is recommended for its HP restoration and movement speed boost after eliminating an enemy, enabling sustained combat.
Alternatively, Impure Rage can be chosen for periodic extra adaptive damage and a mana restoration effect.

In the early stages of the game, start by using Puncture to close the distance between you and your target, followed by Thorned Rose to inflict substantial damage.
By the time you reach level four, execute the same sequence while ending the duel with Phantom Execution. Escape the skirmish using Puncture.
Alternatively, you can commence your combo with Phantom Execution to deliver significant damage right at the onset. Subsequently, utilize Thorned Rose for additional damage and to impede the opponent’s movement.
Pursue them with Puncture, employing basic attacks to bring them down. Use Puncture again to disengage from the fight.
If you have Execute as a combat spell, deploy it to eliminate your target if your damage output is insufficient.
